Ways to Fight Osteoporosis -- Prunes? & other helpful tips

Most of these things you've probably already heard or have known.  Limit alcohol, limit sodium, don't drink soda, etc. etc.  But, in case you need a refresher, there's a link to an article from Health.com below.  Yes.  I even get my magazines through email!! 

I also read in a magazine last month that dried plums and onions were good for bone health.  I promptly went out and bought dried plums.  It's kind of hard to eat the required amount, though.  I guess in the study, women were eating 8 or 9 dried plums a day.  Whew!  That's a lot of prunes!  I can't remember which magazine I read that in, but you can read about the study on ScienceDaily.com.  And you've got to love a study that comes out of Florida State University.  *wink, wink*
