E is for Eagle Pose | A to Z Challenge

I haven't done yoga in so long.  I really need to do it again.  I don't like to work out in front of people, so I have several DVDs and even VHS tapes (yes, we still have a machine) that I use for yoga. 
 
I love that yoga tells me when to breathe, because it causes me to slow down and relax and take those breaths the way I should be taking them all day!
 
I especially love balancing poses. 
 
The Eagle Pose is particularly challenging, because you stand on one foot and wrap the other foot around your standing leg.  And then you wrap your forearms around each other as well. 
It is a very challenging pose.

  2. I love Yoga! I don't know why I don't do it more, I feel sooooo good afterwards.

  3. Oh my! The extent of my yoga experience is on the Wii, and they don't have anything like this! If I tried this, I'd probably fall over and just lie there with my limbs all tangled.
